Microsoft ESP SDK is the software development kit for Microsoft’s Enterprise Simulation Platform (ESP), a real-time 3D engine derived from Microsoft Flight Simulator X. It enables developers and integrators to build custom training, visualization, and decision-support applications by extending the simulation with new content and logic. The SDK provides the SimConnect API, content compilers and utilities, plus samples and documentation for creating aircraft and ground/sea vehicles, gauges and panels, AI traffic, missions, scenery and terrain, weather, and visual effects. Developers can write native C/C++ or managed .NET clients, import assets from common 3D tools, and deploy on Windows with DirectX-based rendering. Note: Microsoft discontinued ESP; its technology later continued under third-party licensing (for example, Lockheed Martin’s Prepar3D).
Microsoft ESP SDK is developed by Microsoft. The most popular version of this product among our users is 1.0.
